Its sad too because they’re missing out on SO MUCH fun! It doesn’t have to be death defying like sky diving or bunjee jumping off a cliff. I have some friends who are exactly like this and those are coincidentally the certain friends I NEVER ask to travel with me.
They’re also the first to get madddd aggy and send me screenshots of my snap story asking why I didn’t invite them on my excursions whether local or foreign. Like, you think that me organizing a group of girls to wake up early for facials/gossip/chatting and a bottomless mimosa brunch (whether in a restaurant or at home hosted m) is “white people shit”, you think me organizing a group of people to go on a sunrise/sunset hike or a well prepped camping trip is “white people shit”, you think me doing those bottomless wine and paint/pottery/artsNcrafts is “white people shit”, you think me organizing a group winery tour and tasting/brewery tour and craft beer tasting is “white people shit”, you think splashing some cash to see exotic sites in our own state is “white people shit”???
So, why the actual fuck would I take you anywhere when I have other Black Friends who enjoy these things 🙄. I can only take you out to the club and dinner 🤷🏽♀️
Seriously so fucking annoying according to every black person i know I’m white because of how i talk, i like being outside, i have a cat and a dog, i have white friends, i like exploring adandoned places, i like traveling to places like Maine and Europe not solely to Atlanta and NOLA, how i dress, because i like bars rather than clubs, i like swimming, i like brunch. apparently I’m just straight up white, it seems, because i like diverse life experiences and i call total bullshit. I’m not saying that’s why i don’t have many black friends but it’s totally why i don’t have many black friends because anything i wanna do wouldn’t be fun because it’s “white” when fun and life experience has no color but sure as fuck has a mindset.
I’m black as hell but I’m also pretty open minded to adventures.. I like to keep free spirited people around me. Life isn’t all about smoking drinking Hennessy & fucking!

YouTube’s algorithm…I mean yes this is about flat-earthers, and we all like to laugh about them, but something has to be said about the fact that conspiracy theories are spread so easily to impressionable youth at a GLOBAL scale. And its not just flat-earthers, it’s Naziism, it’s anti-Semitism, islamophobia, it’s all the terrible radicalization that is happening. It’s all connected, and it’s so so easy to become radicalized because of YouTubes algorithm.
They do this for just about anything, too. Even if you watch overtly left-wing videos they will recommend hard-right video and conspiracy theorists to you. I got a white supremacist creator recommended to me from watching a Bernie Sanders interview.
They run hard-right ads over Left-wing creators now, too. Over a Majority Report video I got an ad for an “anti-PC,” pro-Trump news network. LGBTQ creators I watch are consistently getting gay conversion therapy ads played over them.
The Right loves to scream censorship when they get warning for using racial slurs or demonitized for pushing conspiracy theories, but the Left get hits just as hard if not harder on social media.
This happens even in videos where the title and subject matter do not make it immediately obvious. Watch any videos about video games? Prepare to be recommended videos that start on somewhat valid video game criticism and somewhere in the middle slide right into “GAMES ARE BEING RUINED AND IT’S ALL THE FAULT OF FEMINISM AND THE ESS JAY DOUBLE YEWS!” Nazis are going hard for that demographic and the shit is everywhere.
